Overview

Gain access to Qasr Al Watan, a cultural landmark in Abu Dhabi, and admire its architecture – a testimony of Arabian craftsmanship.

1. Spend some time at the Qasr Al Watan Library, which has books on diverse topics including archeology, history, and more. Click pictures with the horses during Horse Patrol.
2. Marvel at the lush green gardens that surround the palace and enjoy the light and sound show, which features UAE’s story in three acts: past, present, and future.
3. Take some Instagrammable pictures with the beautiful falcon and learn interesting facts about them at the palace’s main door.

Qasr Al Watan is the Presidential Palace of the United Arab Emirates and the meetings of the Federal Supreme Council and the Council of Ministers are held here.

Know Before You Go

1. What to Bring

1. It’s recommended to wear respectful clothing when in the palace. Knees and shoulders should be covered.

2. What’s Not Allowed

1. Consumption of food and drink is not permitted in the great hall or exhibition rooms.
2. Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.
3. Prohibited items include penknives or knives of any kind, scissors, long umbrellas, paints/aerosols, bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates or skateboards, large bags that can’t fit through airport-style security scanners, and CS gas (tear gas) or any weapon.
4. Re-entry is not permitted.

3. Accessibility

1. This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.
2. Wheelchairs are available for rent free of charge and strollers can be rented for AED 20.

4. Additional Information

1. Facilities: Free parking.
2. Please make sure to keep your mobile phones in silent mode before entering the palace.
3. The Palace in Motion show starts at 7:45 PM, with the last entry at 7:15 PM.
